Question Sights for S&W E series Bobtail

I realize I am in the minority, but I do not like night sights at all, nor do I like the 3 dot sights that most all pistols have. This is due to my age and eyesight. I prefer the white outline rear with a very large white dot front. I just described the standard Glock sights, which my eyes can pick-up very quickly and I shoot extremely better. My questions: Are there sights that I described available for the S&W E-series bobtail? If yes, where? Adjustable rear for windage and elevation would be a plus. Love the pistol. Has given me no problems whatsoever, but if I am going to keep, the sights have to go.

I've got the same problem with old eyes! I put a Novak "ghost ring" rear sight (really a rear "U" shaped notch) on mine with a green fiber optic front sight. Novak will install but they will have to recut notch for the front sight on the 1911 (unless they are now making it). In my case, I had a local gunsmith just make me a fiber optic sight to fit the existing notch.

I think Novak might make the ghost ring rear with a white mark. Basically I like the black ghost ring. I've got the same setup on my Springfield EMP. They are easy to see and fast to acquire when drawing and shooting.

Just my experience.

John

I replaced my rear sight with one from 10-8, works much better.
