David, That IS the gun pictured with Elmer holding the grouse. There are a number of references to that gun in the book "Sixguns by Keith". That actual picture was on a page of D.B. Wesson's scrap book, that was there with the gun. I always thought the gun was a great piece of Smith & Wesson history. It was great to see it up close at the SWCA annual meeting. Jim Fisher brought two other guns (among many more) to the show that are also great examples S&W of shooting history. One was a K22 Outdoorsman and the other an .38 M&P target. Both were shipped and belonged to Ed McGivern. Jim had an oustanding display of information and pictures to go along with these guns.
