Attached is the gun ( I hope)... Smith wesson says its 1956-1957 model 14 or 15... Hmmm so .... what is it? lol

I know the price is high as its worn ($400) but I can get it down. Needs a little TLC and SHOOT IT!

Can anyone help me narrow down which it is?
I'd appreciate it.
Also I have always been impressed by knowledge on this website. Impressive!!

That is a K38 combat masterpiece, later to become the model 15. My favorite gun.
