Pic of a Correct K-22 Brochure?
I'm looking for a picture of the correct "Helpful Hints" brochure for my 1953 K-22.
Those in the know have told me there are variations and to be careful to buy a "correct for '53" brochure.
What might that look like and what should I take notice of?
I've found a box and screwdriver, so your help is much appreciated.
Learning about Smith collectibles is a lot of fun while shooting the K-22 is even more fun.

When was your K22 shipped? Best key to what type brochure may have been in the box, is the shipping date. Ed.

Thanks
I haven't lettered it for a ship date but the 190xxx serial number indicates 1953.
Is that close enough?

Here is larger photo of what should be the correct Helpful Hints for your K-22. When you buy one, make sure it has the revolver with the 5-screw frame illustrated as there is one that is similar, but illustrates a revolver with a 3-screw frame. There is also a brochure marked 7-51.

Although difficult to see, this one doesn't appear to be for a 5 screw.
The 5th screw should appear on the trigger guard and be labeled as such.
Am I correct?

doc...You are correct. The revolver featured has a 3-screw frame and dates to 1962 and later. Also, the side plate features the tongue that went under the frame when the upper side plate screw was deleted in early 1957.

Well, if anyone needs that particular brochure, it's on GB with an hour 45 to go.
