Jimmy
I purchased one about 4 months back. It's now my full time CCW revolver. Light, great trigger pull and one ugly ***. Who cares what it look's like or if you scratch it up, which is why I like it so much. A true no worry revolver.

My wife bought one when they first came out. She became very proficient with it and carried it every day. She like it a lot better than my 642 and I must admit the trigger might be better than my 642. However, when the Shield came out she bought one after shooting mine and now carries the Shield everyday. Now she has the LCR stashed in a kitchen drawer, but still shoots it quite often. The only thing I didn't like about it was the key lock...the grip has to be removed in order to use it, so it isn't very practical. I removed the key lock on my 642 years ago. Those dang locks have no use on a carry pistol.

I have one, and have found it quite accurate for a compact revolver (the trigger helps), easy to conceal and light weight.

I carry mine in an IWB holster on occasions where deep concealement is necessary, in a handle bar bicycle bag while cycling, inside the pocket of my PFD (life preserver) while canoeing, any time a full size revolver is just too big.

I like it!

I like shooting mine. Good trigger and the grip cushions the recoil. The grip is however too fat for easy drawing from a pocket holster so I'm back to my J-frames.

I got a chance to shoot one at an IDPA BUG match a year or so ago. I liked it. Is it ugly? Yeah, kind of, but I'm fine with ugly. BUT, I'm a J-frame guy.

I checked one in a gun shop. I guess it's a nice gun for what it is. My 442 has a better trigger but that is after a trigger job. I admit the LCR may have a nicer factory trigger than a S&W snubby, maybe. I just can't seem to get past the idea of using plastic on a revolver. I must just be an old fashioned wheel gun guy.

test drove the sister in laws LCR ... it didn't make the list.
accuracy isn't bad, and the trigger is pretty good as DA's go.
I hate not having an SA option in a revolver which the LCR lacks.
its just not a pleasant gun to shoot. particularly true with upper end loads like S&B 158's and +p. Recoil, while recoverable stings like smoking a steel post with a baseball bat. This really bred fear in its owner, whose accuracy rapidly declined with it after gaining a nasty flinch.

I bought one when they first arrived I was very impressed with it. The trigger is great and the sorbothane in the grip really helped with recoil of stout loads.

When I had it, they had not come out with the boot grip yet. So carry in the front pocket the grip was almost exposed so I did not like carrying it.

It shot better than my 442, 642 which both had trigger jobs.

Sold it for something else, I don't miss it as it is just ugly.

But maybe the 357 mag??

My second son has the Tarus version, trigger isn't as good as Ruger's. Several friends have LCR 38's and a few have 357's I was looking at the 22- 8 shot the other day trigger just was not as good as the other LCRs i've shot. Ivan
