SW Model 67 pricing
I have decided to sell my Model 67-1. I bought this weapon in 1980 from a client who owned a gun shop. I had qualified with the Model 10 in the Air Force and thought I might try to do some target shooting, so I bought this. Plans changed and the pistol remained in my dresser ever since. I have never fired nor loaded it, although it had had some rounds through it before I bought it. It has lived in a S&W hard plastic case for years and has been cleaned occasionally.
Any comments regarding potential value of this weapon will be appreciated.
Thanks.

WELCOME to the S&W forum!!
Model 10's are all over the price range.
You can buy a blue police turn-in from Bob's Gun Shop for $229 to $269.
I don't recall seeing a Model 10 like yours...appears to be stainless.
Check out gunbroker.com and do a search on "S&W Model 10" to get a list of these for sale with "asking" prices.
Most appear to be in the $300 dollar range.
For the one you show I'd go as high as $350...what markings are on the crane (open the cylinder and read the stampings)?

That is not a Model 10, it appears to be a Model 67, which is the stainless version of the Model 15. Manufacture would have been in the 1978-1+79 time frame. Open the cylinder, and see if the model # is not stamped into the frame inside the yoke opening. A very clean Model 67 would probably be in the $500 range.

Yup. Correct. It is a model 67-1 per the stamping in the yoke frame.

$500 give or take seems about right to me. For what it's worth, I think the 67 (or 15 or 18) is among the most attractive visually of all the Smiths. Love the four inch K frames!

67's go for way more than 10's these days..........that's an easy $400, maybe $500 gun at a gun show where I live.
FYI The market is saturated with 10's right now, it's a bad time to sell one if you're looking to make anything on it.
