Default How did I do?

I recently picked up this 4" model 10-5 for $300. It's in like new condition with beautiful gloss blue.

Serial number D497xxx. I'm guessing it was made in the mid 70's, can anyone confirm the age?

1972 - 1973'ish.

I don't have a Model 10, but if I had been there before you this would have been my post

Love the deep blue, are the grips original as well? Box or papers?

And.... Welcome aboard.

Looks like 1972-73. That's a very good price for a gun in that condition. I started my LEO career with one just like it in 1969.

The grips appear to be original but, no box, no papers.
It did come with an Uncle Mikes Side Kick holster. I doubt the holster was ever on a belt and I'm fairly certain the firearm has had less that a box of ammo through it.

It was part of a larger collection that got broke up a few years ago.
