I was at Eastern Pa Gun show this past weelend when an elderly gentleman stops by with 2 neat old guns in custom case. Both guns were pre war, K-22 and K-38 both all matching serial numbers and dating to about 1935-36. Interestingly he had a K-frame grip adapter, which he didn't know for sure what it was...so I installed it for him and he he said he would never use it and really didn't like the feel of it. I made him a offer and he sold it to me. Now that I have it and really don't have anything to put it on I will be posting it for sale in the proper location.
I thought about using it on my Pre war K-22 2nd model, but the grip ears are not protected. Darn it!
Also picked up 4 N-frame Nickel guns from a retired FFL dealer who has had them 20+ years in his safe, guns are test fired only in presentation cases with all goodies and shipping boxes. Nothing more than lite cylinder line and factory test fired! 5" 27-2, 6" 27-2, 6" 57, 6 1/2" 29-2
Great weekend!
