I just got 2 of these in the mail today easy install but even after putting back together with the new pad and spring i still can only put 15 in my.40cal any help on what i might of did wrong

Your follower's legs are likely catching the edge of the baseplate - I use a file to put a bevel on the front and rear edge of the inside of the baseplate and some fine sandpaper to create a corresponding bevel on the follower legs, that way they can "slide" past each other more easily.

If that is not enough, you may have to shorten the follower legs some, again putting a bevel on them.
