Checking In
Hi to everyone--new to this forum. Have several S&W pistols and might be able to share some of my experience with them. I have an SW9VE, an M&P9C, an M&P9, and an SW22A and have enjoyed every one of them. The first one I got was the Sigma and I have to say that all the negative comments about Sigma are just a bunch of ****. I have put 1000 rounds through mine and never have had a missfire, stovepipe, failure to feed or anything not working right. I had to drift adjust the rear sight a little--but after that it is as accurate as anything I have ever fired---and in 23 years in the USMC I did "some" firing.
I went to a gun show here in Port St Lucie today and saw the SD9 VE--handled it a little and got the impression that I did not like it as much as my Sigma. The grip seemed slippery--not the right stippling, it looked pretty but I had the distinct impression that the barrel was not as hefty as the Sigma barrel--could be my eyes at 68 years old--but I sure as hell think they skimped on the metal there.
Anyone have any experience with the new SD9 and 40 VEs?
I also have a Ruger SR9C, SR22 and LC9 if anyone wants comparative info on these against S&W
