Default 19-4 Target Grips Question

The other day I took the factory checked target grips off my 19-4 for the first time to install Ahrends Retro Combats. I noticed that the factory grips weren't numbered to the gun. Does that mean they aren't original to the gun?

There are a few rare instances on some 50's guns .... but generally speaking, Factory Target stocks are never numbered.

Since target grips do not require fitting, they weren't numbered. Only a very few were ever numbered.
