Default New to Forum not to Smith's

Wanted to say hello to everyone. I am a Deputy Sheriff in Texas and have carried S&W's revolvers since 1982 and still do so today along with 1911's. Most of modest collection is S&W with a couple of Ruger revolvers and I have to admit a couple of snakes (What is it about those blue Pythons). My computer skills are very poor but I am learning. I hope to get taught how to post pictures very soon as I have a few working guns I feel have earned the right to be shown off. I would have to say my favorite is a 1954 5" pre 27 in blue with Jordan Trooper stocks.

As the feller used to say in the beer commercial, "Hit jes' don't git no better'n'at." Or something like that.

Welcome from South Georgia. We like S&Ws and 1911s down here too. If I wasn't from South Georgia, I'd want to be from Texas.
