I just noticed I registered here in 2006 but this will be my first post.
I have popped in from time to time for info or to see what was in the topics but never got around to posting-(kinda fear of the unknown, I guess).
I post semi-regularly at gunbroker and go by the same name there.
Now, just a bit about myself.
I'm retired from a career in LE about 4 years ago. I am very near the half-century mark in age. I currently sell new and used cars (part time) at a Chevy dealership in the "thumb area" of Michigan. Our other store sells GMC/Pontiac/Cadillac. I do this to earn my "mad money" and because I like cars. I also teach drivers training on occasion.
Grew up in Detroit & I worked at UPS for about 8 years before I got into LE. Did lots of other misc jobs before that from stockboy to pizza delivery to changing movements on Timex watches and more. I've "been around the block" a time or two.
My first love, after family, is guns. Know a little bit about them and am into reloading when I have the time. Have tried bullet casting but don't do a lot of it.
My 1st handgun was a Smith model 19-4 with a 6 inch barrel I bought in 1979. Wish I still had it.
Also, love the classic cars of my youth. Not a mechanic but I can do small jobs like brakes and minor repairs.
I guess I've rambled enough-I hope I meet your expectations, but I have a reasonably thick skin. So with that in mind.....lay it on me.
