Hi,
I'm trying to identify model and Mfg date of my grandfather’s old revolver.
The serial number is 51XXX.
Barrel left side legend: * 38 S. & W. CTG *.
Barrel top side legend:
*SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A.*
*PAT’D AUG.4.96. DEC.22.96. OCT.8.01. FEB.6.06. SEPT.14.09*
