Hello From The Great Lake State MI
Howdy,
I have had an interest in Smith's over the years. The 1st Smith I carried was an air weight when I was in Vietnam. Not an issue, a friend gave it to me when he went state side and I left it there for another GI. Started buying them after my 1st "Dirty Hairy" movie. I have Hunted and target practiced with them over the years. Killed a nice 6 pt in the back yard with the 58 at 20 ft, low neck shot, got lucky. There have been different models of Smith's at the bed stand for ever protecting the home front. Since I now have a CPL I carry A "J" frame, 40, nickel. Not a Model 29, but I carry it, and it will work in a pinch.
I enjoy reading and learning from this site. I started re-loading and enjoy working out loads and learning what works from other members. I would like to learn more about some gunsmithing at home. Just taking them apart for cleaning & what tools are reauired.
Hope to be able to contribute in some way and to make some friends sharing the same interests. Looking forward to many a friendly & informative discussions.
Thanks & Best Regards.
