Default Hello from the north coast
Howdy,

I'm uphill from Lake Superior, on the rapidly melting shoreline in Duluth, MN.

I ran through a string of sidearms looking for the right chemistry. By chance I came upon a 66-5 at the right price, in great condition. That lead to a cull in the gun safe, including a brace of Rugers that I had high hopes for. The result was another shiny S+W wheelgun, a 686+ 3" <and a mortgage payment in return>. I gave up a few other calibers and settled on 357/38, great ergonomics, and a few sweeeet triggers.

While I'll keep my Redhawk and Single Six for utility work, no amount of tinkering and aftermarket parts will make them shoot like my new Smiths.

I have seen the light.
