Default New to the forum from AZ

Hello everyone,

I am definitely new to the Smith and Wesson family of weapons, but not to guns. I had always wanted a 357 Magnum and purchased a Model 649 357 last night used for $350. Wanted to purchase a 44 Magnum Snub, but for the price I couldn't beat the versatility and condition of this one. From my understanding, after some research, this one is rather sought after because it is a pre-lock version. Looking forward to being involved.

Eric

Thanks for the welcome. I am considering a good clean and polish. Would it be a bad idea to polish to a glossy finish?
