Default Hello from Flood City PA

I just wanted to say hello! I just bought a new 15-22, not my first gun and not my first S&W. I also have a 686 which is a family favorite! I've always had a deep love for S&W. My father in law turned me on to them when I was dating his daughter many years ago. He has several, and through his common sense, he was able to redirect me away from a GP100 to a 686. Not that there is anything wrong with a GP100. I don't want to start off here bashing anything. I have a deep love for anything that goes boom! Currently I have been adding .22's to my collection, since that is what I have been shooting with my 12 year old son. Last year I bought him his first rifle, a Savage MarkII. I just bought a M&P 15-22 to go along with it.

Default Another nooby

Good mornin from CT.
I am primarily a competitive rifle shooter but love to smell burned gun powder and cast. I have only a few handguns currently, one of which is a 586 6". It shoots so good it almost makes me look like a handgun shooter.
I have come with a lot of questions so bear with me please.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I had been lurking for a while. I tend to do that a fair amount. I work out of state and most often I just have my droid. I've been a member of TFF for a long time as well as kahr Talk and PAFOA. It looks like this is going to be just as nice of an experience and those have been.
