racking my 9m
when i first got 9 m MS, itwas almost imposible for me to rack it or load the mag.
i let the handgunstay racked for about 2 weeks and then after catching my skin in the reaease a few times finally got the hang of it. tookmit to the range and after about 50 rounds the racking got a lot easer.. as to the loading the mag, i fianally bought a speeed loader and mow it is a cinch..
tell me are all 9 m's that way or was i just lucky??

There is a right way and a wrong way to rack a slide, or a way that is more difficult. You grab the gun w/your shooting hand using a shooting grip. Reach over w/the other hand and palm down, w/the weak hand, place all four fingers across the slide, gripping w/the entire hand. Then push w/the shooting hand and pull w/the weak one. There is a Youtube vid showing women how to rack a slide that works for folks w/hand strength issues or arthritis.

I would agree. That's how I was taught by an expert marksman and x marine. Push and pull...
