Hello from Missouri
Just checking in from South Central MO (that should read as "near Fort Leonard Wood, MO").
Picked up my first S&W today, got an M&P 9 from the exchange. I broke it apart and cleaned (kinda) and lubed it up, then it went bang every time I pulled the trigger. I really like that trigger, it seemed to have a short length of pull and a very reasonable trigger pull.
Anyway, I am looking forward to fitting in here.

Hey man, welcome from way South Central Mo. I had my basic training at Fort Wood in 1970. Grew up in Raymondville Mo. which ain't too far from there. This is a nice place to get answers for just about anything, even S&W firearms! Or marriage, parenting, bird ID, cooking and you name it.
