Default 38 Hammerless 2" 5th Model Year of Manufacture
Serial number 260xxx 2" 38 hammerless nickel finish. Has all features of a 5th model, but has a pinned front sight. Judging from serial number guessing made in late 30's, but need confirmation.

Welcome aboard from the great state of Pennsylvania! If you are very serious about documenting your new puppy - you can Request a Factory Letter which will research the date of manufacture, first recorded shipment destination, etc.
