Hello with new 4566TSW
Been around the site and figured I'd go ahead and post. Never really been a Smith and Wesson guy, or a TDA guy either (been mostly a Hi Power and Glock type).
Was kicking around the idea of culling the Hi Power herd a bit and thought about getting another .45 to go with the Glock 21 I have.
Struck a deal with a guy on gunbroker for these. Don't think I did too bad at $350 with 3 mags each. Even saved on shipping and 1 transfer fee.
Going to try them out tomorrow.

Well, guns go bang, leave big holes. Only ran about 100 rounds through them. Just enough to test all the mags and both guns. No problems. Triggers will take a little getting used to. I'm used to lighter single action hi power triggers. I'm shooting a little right and low - probably just me pushing on the trigger. That and it feels like holding a 5lb bag of sugar out there, but I like them.

Nice pair you got there. You'll get use to them with usage.
And a warm from “wild and wonderful “ West Virginia at least that’s what they tell us.

Yup, they aren't light. Built like tanks, but smooth and extremely reliable shooters. Enjoy them. Welcome to the forum!

"5lb bag of sugar"...laughed for 5 minutes! Best analogy I've heard...a bit heavy but sweet! Still a good 10oz lighter than a full size 1911 but I've been shooting 3rd gens so long I don't notice.
Welcome from the Great Midwest.
