S&W poor quality and performance
I have never owned a S&W not by design just haven't owned one. I own several colts 6 inch snake collection, rugers , taurus , uberti , glock as well as AR 15 and 10 platforms and tactical shotguns and lever action rifles. I was recently given an Engraved 5RD 38SP for my birthday. The guns engraving was a joke so i thought well just send it back and they will do it rite. what a nightmare .First they didn't tell me they would be on a shut down and I ended up sending them the tracking number they thanked me but never actually notified me that they had my revolver after about a month and a bunch of who shot john I just told them to send it back. poor quality control and a marginal product and the service terrible. I just retired from a large water treatment facility and have dealt with companies from all over the world and this was the worst experience i have ever had

Welcome from Wisconsin!
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with S&W. I've had nothing but good service & fine products from them as most of us did. There's always something that slips between the cracks. I'd call, email or write them about your experiences. Even if it does no good they'll know they have a dissatisfied customer who will tell the world. And who knows? Maybe it'll get some action from them.

I get that its probably not the norm I will try and post some pics of the revolver. something that's so in your face I cant blame my wife she didn't realize that it wasn't supposed to look like that but the guy at the gun shop wont walk in there again .It gives me pause if something that Is so obvious gets shipped from the factory what about what you cant see and for them not to have opened the box look at it and immediately email that this will be taken care of don't get it

I have learned, from this forum, that S&W will bend quite far to satisfy their customers and protect their good name.
I hope things work out for you.
If you are here looking for help and support, you will find us willing.
If you are here to rail against one of the most recognized and successful companies on earth, it will get quiet real quick.
Welcome.

I have been a S&W fan for many yrs and have dealt with their service department on numerous occasions . I only have had one bad experience which was something that I ended up fixing myself .
I can tell you that when you have a lot of people working at a company it can happen to get that one guy / gal that isn't as devoted to their job or the company as he / she should be . It's human nature and it happens . You have not posted any pictures . It makes it difficult to realize your complaint .
