Cool Hello from Washington State
I had never been a fan of S&W before. I always thought the Revolvers were out of my price range, and I don't care for the M&P style semi-autos. However, while searching for used S&W revolvers on Gunbroker.com, (I can afford a better gun now) I came across a Model 4013 & fell in love. Paid $500 for it. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Since I purchased it, I've been reading many old forum threads on the 4013, 3913, and others. A lot of good information on here. So, since I'm now the owner of a S&W, I thought I should join.

Welcome Doug. I'm mostly into revolvers when it comes to Smith & Wessons; but I did own a 3913 for a few years. It was a great gun. The only S & W auto I currently own is a Model 41.

I only own two 3rd gens, a 4506 and a 6906. To my mind's eye, they are a joy to shoot as well as being downright handsome.
