Hi to All my fellow S&W affectionados.
Hello, I am just a regular old country fellow, born and raised in the South, residing in the swamps of friendly rural Myakka City Florida.
Back in 1885, at the ripe old age of 25, I purchased my first S&W weapon, a 4" bbl. 66-2 , and after thousands of rounds, I still have it to this day. I became sidetracked from S&W, but have gone full circle in life, and now I am back home.
I have become more of a collector of S&W .357/.38 revolvers than a shooter. I am pouring over my new book, " Standard Catalog Of S&W 4th Edition and can see why members consider it as a must read book. Reading is FUN  damental for me. I like researching and learning anything S&W related, not just wheelguns.
This Forum and its members are a valuable resource of S&W information for me, and I too hope to add to that value.

Wouldn't that be 157? If you were 25 years old in 1885, you would have to be born in 1860. You would therefore be really, really old in 2017!

Well darn , forgot to mention my struggles with dementia. Reminds of the time I went to the store and lost my car keys. Turns out it did not matter because I forgot where I parked.
