New member from TN
Hello, I'm from East TN. Bought 2 S&W this year (1st gun purchases). The SD9 VE and today the 9mm Shield (Academy price match plus 5% for $303.99). I would like to sincerely thank this forum and all the members that have made post. I've extensively read threads for about the last 5 months before making my purchases. I've learned a lot and look forward to learning more as I continue purchasing more guns. I believe its become an addiction.

Howdy from South Carolina, and welcome to the forum.
This is a good place for a novice to do their due diligence learning before diving in to this hobby. Be forewarned about that addiction though, there are known to be a few enablers hereabouts.

Welcome from Cincinnati and congrats on your purchases. I own both of those guns and like them a lot. The shield is my EDC and the 9ve is fun at the range. Both have been super reliable.
