Hi from Richmond, IN
I was raised with guns because of my dad being a gunsmith. I shot my first gun at age 6. My dad would take us to target shoot with guns and bows. I have been rabbit hunting, squirrel hunting and deer hunting. My dad passed in August of 1989..miss him terribly. I got away from shooting for the last 30 years but recently got interested again when I started dating this wonderful guy a year ago. He introduced me to the Smith-Wesson Forum. He's been a great teacher and I've really been enjoying our times together target shooting. Happy to have MyDads38 in my life and my partner in target shooting. He is an excellent target shooter and teacher. I hope to someday be half as good as he is. By the way..I am shooting with a Ruger22 that my boyfriend bought me for Christmas and am loving it. I have shot his 9mm and didn't do bad but boy does it have a kick..haha. I want to thank you all for taking the time to read this. Attached are some of my targets.

Howdy from South Carolina, and welcome to the forum.
Shooting is a great couples hobby with so many fun variations where you can take it. One of our favorites is informal clays shooting at the DNR range.
I bet your dad is smiling down at his "chip-off-the-old-block".
