Revolver newbie from Seattle
Hello everyone 
I'm a little embarrassed that it has taken me so long to join the Smith & Wesson revolver club, but better late than never 
I just picked up my first revolver today, hopefully will get to put a few rounds through it tomorrow

Stromburg, Welcome to the forum from SW Ohio. Great start with the Model 29. I have a couple of them in the 629 version and they are great shooting firearms. You will love it.

Welcome from the Free State of Florida.
Great choice for a first wheel guy! A 5" 29 is well balanced weapon and can be a joy to shoot with some mild loadings.
May I suggest you consider a mate for it, a 4-5" 357 mag is the perfect range gun. Something you can shoot all day with outstanding accuracy.

I've been thinking the same thing, the guy I picked up the 29-6 from also has a 686 pre dash 4", he had both offered up for trade. I might reach out to him and see if he would be willing to part with it also.

If the price is right, grab it.
I'd bet that's one you'll keep for the rest of your life and will be a constant range companion.
This was my latest purchase that joined a number of S&W and Ruger 357 wheeler's in my safe. Almost can't go to the range without one.
