Honey Island Louisiana
Hey, I’m Dave, I’ve been reloading shotgun shells since the mid 70’s, and started loading rifle cartridges in the mid 80’s. I just purchased a Dillon 550c, and am in the process of getting it set up. Having a question, I did a google search, and found the answer on your website. Figuring there was more valuable information here for me to learn more about pistol reloading, I considered joining the forum to browse and learn. Thanks for your admission into the site, I’ll look foreword to reading more into this site. Thank You.

Welcome from just up the road from Brooklyn,Ms. I spend a lot of time in Slidell and as soon as things get right I'm taking my grand children for a Honey Island Swamp tour.

We also have the Honey Island range there in the swamp Management Area, although its open on the weekends Fri-Sat & Sun, lately it's been closed to flooding.I shoot a good bit there with my daughters, they have Trap machines, and we've all shot trap for years. Also have 100yd Rifle range, and 25 yard pistol range. I hear folks like the swamp tour, said it was very interesting, even if your from here, lots to be learned.

Good to know, I got everything set just right on the Dillon 550C, and in loading approx 60 rounds of 38 wadcutters, the primer bar has stuck about 6 times. I'm going to find the appropriate forum here, and see what I can figure out. If I can't find an answer, I guess I'll be on the phone with Dillon tomorrow. hahaha 60 rounds and 6 primer bar slide jams..... I'll be missing the Rockchucker pretty quick at this rate!
