Hi there!
I'm new here although I've been a shooter for a long time, mostly trap with my 12 guage Remington 870 that I inherited when my aunt passed away 30 years ago.
My dad had 3 girls but I was the one that tagged along on many of his small game outings. Shot .22s with hubby and got the chance to take his spot on his work trap team when he was going to school at night; he and I shot together for a few years too. Last year I got the chance to try skeet and loved it! I have also shot pistol and revolver with hubby on and off for a number of years.
Hubby and I decided about two years ago that I needed to have my own cc weapon for protection. I have shot a number of guns trying to find the right one. Two weeks ago we stopped at a small independent shop on our way up North.
I was handed a S&W M&P 9 Shield EZ....SOLD! I didn't have the chance to fire it but I loved the way it felt in my hand, I could rack it with no trouble and it was not too heavy.
I put about 100 rounds through it today and am thrilled with it! I'll be spending lots more time at the range. Looking forward to years of great shooting. THANKS, Honey!
Now I just need to find my own range bag and cc purse!
