Default Ameican Select users?

This seems to be an "on again/off again" powder for Alliant, but I am getting some very good groups out of it in .38 Special, .32-20 and .32 Long. It is very clean too!

Anyone else seem to shoot this? Or is it a sleeper, or is there something "hidden" I don't know about this powder?

nothing strange at all. is basically a cleaned up green dot. have used in shotguns since it first came out. seemed to have a little more recoil than some others, loads similiar to red dot. in handguns it shoots ok for me but seems a bit noisier than some of the more popular powders. should work about anywhere you would use 231 but not same charge weights. is cleaner burning than most of alliants other powders.

I find it a great, accurate, clean powder in everything I've tried it in.

I found it in stock and bought 3 lbs.

Alliant used to have a bunch of data for it on their site but took it off......but I still have it though. Other than that you can't find very much data for it. Lee has some data for AS, but not much.
