Default Looking for 300+ grain hardcast for .44 Mag

Penn Bullets has a 320 grain hardcast lead bullet for the .44 Mag. but it appears that production of this bullet has been temporarily suspended.

Anyone have any recommendations on a source for 300+ grains bullets for the .44 Mag to be fired in S&W 29's and 629's?

Be prepared to replace either your front sight and/or your rear sight, as point of impact with the heavier bullets is likely to exceed your ability to adjust factory sights.

Best wishes.

Lobo,

I had that trouble when going to heavy weight bullets in .41 cal, but I was just fine with the 29, in .44. YMMV

I just received some 300gr hard cast "silhouette" bullets from Missouri Bullet. I haven't had a chance to load them up yet, but they appear to be extremely well-made, and they're very reasonably priced.

I found some 300 grainers at Magnus Bullets MAGNUS BULLETS that look interesting. They're $78.34/500 before flat rate shipping.

Rimrock Bullets has some as well but their price is $23.00+ per 100 and that's just to high a price.
