Default me and the 500 at the range

just back from the range on sat 10/3/09 and man was it exhilarating!! fired some handloads for the 500 mag. the first cylinder full was a 1.7cc load of titegroug behind a hornady 350gr XTP projectile. the accuracy was good, felt about like some of the hot 44's i've loaded. the second cylinder full was a 3cc load of lil' gun behind a 350gr hornady XTP projectile. man now that was a handfull!!! biggest boom at the range and i love the way everybody (20+ people) stop what they're doin' to watch me fire this weapon!!!! it's an outdoor range, too. 308's cower from this big guns bark. it is baaaaad............pierced a primer in my sa 44 mag and had a squib in sa 357 mag. pt-145 45acp shot flawlessly as did the colt hbar ar-15 with the newly mounted m-203 (37mm civilian version) launcher. sighted in 2 scopes on the ar, a 3-9X40 charles daly and a red dot, too.........all fired pistol rounds were hand loaded, ar's were commercial LC. i'm currently gathering the stuff to start reloading for the ar as well...........BTW my 500 mag has the 4" barrel

Default Good times...

'sounds like fun...the only thing that beats the stares is the look on someone's face when you let them squeeze off a few rounds. I always try to take a few extra light, medium, and hot rounds just in case anyone wants to try her out. Someone here on this forum compared it to buying a beer for someone...

Regards.
