Question Beginners Question

I have been buying reloading equiptment for a couple of months now. It has taken so long because everything I have ordered is on backorder. The Lee Turret press, pro disc powder measure, dies, brass, primers, powder and bullets. I finally received the last item needed, which are bullets. I settled on Hornady XTP's as the only ones I could get. Are Xtp's that different that they get their own loading data on some charts? If a chart does not list XTP, what should I use that is comparable? Jacketed hollow point?
I am loading 9mm 124 grain and 40 S&W 155 grain and have Bullseye powder because my Lymans book says it can be used with both, but after a recent post I am unsure as to using it because a lot of people don't like Bullseye for 40 S&W, something about too fast burning. I am considering buying Power Pistol powder so that I can use the same powder for both.
Any and all opinions are welcome and appreciated.
Thank You

My opinion is that if it's a published load you are OK. I load 9mm 115 fmj and HP with 4.7 gr of Bullseye. I use BE for .32, .38. 357, .41, .44 and .45. These are all light target loads.
As soon as i start loading for .40 I'll use BE. Check Alliant's website, Alliant Powder - Reloader's Guide
They have a load for a Speer 155 gr. bullet

Depends with what gun you are shooting the .40 S&W whether you will have a problem.
With a revolver, light loads are fine. With some semi-autos--like my Browning HP40--a light target load in .40 S&W will not function reliably. With a semi-auto, most people match their load and recoil spring, and stick pretty close to that power factor.
