Hi to all reloading-freaks!
I will start today an experience-thread about low-pressure ammo for the 1877 Baby Russian.
My goal is a safe and (for this kind of gun) accurate load for the 11- and 16-yards distance.
It should hold the 9-ring or better, which means a circle of 4 inches, if shot from a rest.
It is necessary to use nitro-powder. I will use it mostly in a indoor-shooting-range.
Here we start with the first tryouts. I know that the .355 bullet is in theory to small. But I feel
enough resistance while I press the bullets in the barrel.
They look ugly, but if they meet my goal.. who cares?
