I checked the above places, and all others listed here in this sub forum recently, and none can beat Dry Creek Bullet Works for price. They make vey good quality bullets too, and have some choices that others don't always have.

The above is a misnomer.
Good bullets aren't cheap, and cheap bullets aren't good.
However, nearly all decent cast bullets are far more affordable than their jacketed counterparts, and it is just shipping that you have to worry about.
Thank the USPS for flat rate and 70lb. boxes!
Try the TVB's...he cast's a mean bullet. Not the cheapest, but great quality!
What about the design of the bullet, location, and alloy that you want? Lots to think about. Does the caster use wheelweights, virgin alloy or alloy of a dubious source?
Lots to think about.
Why not try casting your own?

cheap bullets
Like the man said, cheap is not necessarily good. No one has mentioned Pennbullets. Bob Palermo is a gem to work with and he carries a line of truncated cone bullets that shoot very well. To boot he has his own smelting operation and can control the alloys that others can not.
Welcome To Penn Bullets INC.

I use Fellow Forum Member Jesse Clark of TV Bullets.
Jesse is very accomodating when it comes to Bulk Orders, bullet sizing and bullet hardness. Great Turn Around, Fine Slugs.... why give your business to strangers?

If you want cheap try Speer. They have a lead bulk pack that is dirt cheap. I just finished my last box.
These are swaged but at .38 Spl velocity you'll never notice.

You've got that right! The first bulk cast bullets I tried were terrible. People thought I was shooting black powder the lube smoked so much.
Next I tried Lead Heads and found that quality bullets make a big difference.
After that I began casting my own and even started my own company.
Quality cast bullets aren't cheap, especially the Keith style. They are actually a pain as they are time consuming to make because they stick in the mold. That's the design of the bullet with all the sharp edges.

For odd calibers try GAD. Just got some 30 Luger sized to .309. He also makes heeled bullets. Also in the past he did some .38 Colt and various others like 7mm Mauser for my RollingBlock carbine.

In a town the size of Detroit there is likely to be someone commercially casting bullets somewhere close. Ask around the local gunshops to find out who is around, anything you don't have to pay shipping on will be the least expensive.

good cast bullets
Howdy all, I don't know if they are the cheapest or not, but I have always found there prices good and they ship, free in certain cases. Give them a try, good guys also.
Chey- Cast Bullets they are out of Cheyenne Wy. Tell them Patrick or the Executioner sent, might get you a higher price, not sure. Patrick

I ordered all the stuff I needed to make 148 gr. DEWC's and 158 gr. SWC's for a little over $100. The Lee tumble lube molds have worked well for me. I've been lucky to stumble across wheel weights for free so right now I'm shooting 38 Sp. or 357 Mag. for less than $2 per box of 50. Heck bulk .22 LR is about that much per 50... if you can even find it. Casting was much easier than I thought it would be and very addictive.
If you're going to buy commercial bullets TVB is hard to beat. TVB's perform like a premium bullet at an affordable price.

I also just placed my first order with Missouri Bullet. I ordered the 358, 158gr's with a Brinell rating of 18.
I plan to push these in excess of 1100 fps to minimize leading, but have yet to work up any loads.

I use Tru-Cast out of Coeur d'Alene, ID. Over the last 3 or 4 years I 've bought several thousand bullets from them. Jim Dunn is very accomodating and ships cheap at the USPS bulk rate. I compared last summer and he was the least expensive I found, not sure if I compared to all listed here. Check him out . . .

Correction to post for Dry Creek
In previous post about Dry Creek I stated in error about website; that was Dry Creek's e-mail address. Lynn is working on web site and I'm not sure when it will be up. Sorry for my lapse in thought.
