Default 35 S&W REloading

Been lurking here for quite a while. Bought one gun a few years ago but trying to get comfortable among S&W experts and friends.

Anyway, I am thinking about one of the neat little S&W pistols in 35 S&W and I'm wondering what are the possibilities of reloading for this?

I have found some rounds on the internet but they are re-formed brass. Right now it's too cold and snowy to go out to the reloading room to check the old standby "Cartridges of the World" to see what it would be formed from. Any input? Any experience?

Thanks

An older edition of COTW I have says that .32 ACP can be fired in these. The spec sheet at the end of the chapter has bullet diameter of .309 for both, other dimensions are close enough for it to work apparently.

That would have to be easier (and much, much cheaper) than trying to come up with .35 brass.

Thanks. That would definitely be much easier coming up with the 32 ammo.

CH4d lists dies for 35 S&W but what good is that if you can't find brass?

S&W first attempt at a semi auto pistol. At least I think it was the first attempt. Might have been the .32 auto that looks similar.

The guns come up regularly on GunBroker.com but the issue is ammo. No ammo (or brass to my knowledge) has been produced for many years.

Here is a pic

I think I read that the last few of these they made they just went ahead and chambered them for .32 Auto to make some effort in keeping it alive.

I suppose the marketing gamble (.35 ??) did not pay off so they scrubbed it.
