nite,
I can only tell you what I use in my Glock 22RTF. I shoot Berry's 180gr TCMJHP over 6.6gr SR4756. It pushes that bullet out at 1000fps, give or take a little, is accurate and has one of the lowest pressure ratings of any powder out there.
Longshot has rather low pressure too only I haven't worked up any loads with it yet.
It seems that the more time I spend here the more I'm convinced that I should try some SR4756. I'll be shooting the forty a lot. Thanks for your ideas!
I've been using 5.8 - 6.0 gr of WSF with a 180gr jacketed bullet almost as long as I've been loading 40 S&W, and that's been since 1991. It is a good powder that meters very well, no chance of a double, good loading density. Burns clean and accuracy is great. Max is 6.2 gr per Winchester's guide.
Nite, I have been using 4.6gr Universal Clays in my Glock 22. This load makes power factor of 170 for USPSA major. This is acheived with Zero brand 180gr TCM. Very lite muzzle jump and smooth slide operation.
