Yep , got me some of that special run of Starline .41 SPL headstamped brass. Been to a few indoor ranges that have a 'SPECIALS ONLY' rule. Ya can't shoot any centerfire handgun rounds that say MAGNUM. Ya can load some of Elmer Keith's hot loads into .44 Special cases and that's OK. But ya couldn't shoot powder-puff level load if they are put up in magnum cases.
Now I can use my wonderfully accurate 6 1/2" 657 Classic Hunter in revolver matches.
Plus since every sixgunner KNOWS there never was a .41 Special , I see me carrying a round or two and winning a few sucker bets!
