Default RCBS® Pro 2000 Auto Progressive Reloading Press :

Hello, I am looking for information on the RCBS PRO 2000 Progressive, and especially the parts "fragile" likely broken in normal use, for my release is the second time I break the Shoulder Bolt (Part No. 788 009 ), I use my RCBS PRO 2000 for the 9x19, 45 acp, 38/357, service guarantee RCBS had already shipped (free), the Shoulder Bolt (788 009).
Pending feedback, especially on the Shoulder Bolt, I thank you in advance, Gaëtan.

I've had mine for years and load several calibers including a few rifle rounds. The only part I have ever "broken" is the plastic ring that holds the springs that keep the case in the shell head, and that was MY fault. True to form RCBS sent me a new one for no charge. I can't imagine how you broke the shoulder bolt?????? I assume you mean the one that holds the shell plate to the top of the ram????

I have loaded over a quarter million rounds in mine and the only part I broke is the central bolt that holds the die plates on. I have worn some parts and RCBS just sends out replacements.

Its a great reliable well mad press. I really like mine which is now about 10 years old.

I've had mine for a number of years and have broken one "shoulder" bolt (main bolt holding shell plate), several parts for the priming system (plastic clips and feed tray), one primer ram, and several springs. All replaced by RCBS.

The shell plate bolt takes alot of strain when sizing .308's for my M-14. I load a .32, .38, and .45 in pistol and several rifle calibers as well.

I'm very pleased my pro and load approximately 50K rounds a year....
