Default tumbler upgrade

To improve the tumbling action, put a piece of vinyl carpet runner inside the can with the pointy nubs to the inside. Secure the vinly with a short screw thru the can into the vinly. There is a dramatic improvement in tumbling action.

Spray paint the can Red so it matches. But then everyone will tell you to make it Blue so it's a Dillon.

Yeah if that was Blue, I'd pay $300 for it.

My buddy just bought one that looks for the world like he could use it on Saturday night to call Bingo.

I like yours better. Especially the "ground strap".

On a serious note
If you see spare batteries for that Milwaukee buy 'em up.. They changed the batteries to Lithium and they are not interchangeable.. Don't ask how I know.. Home Depot and Lowes in area will not even order..

I have a Dewalt that needs batteries. I can buy a whole new drill with 2 batteries for what they want. The age of everything is disposable.

I will never ever buy a battery powered tool again. Ever. Did I say never also? Never! The wall outlet never needs to be charged up before it works. The stupid batteries--always.

WOW thanks for all the great replies...I can't afford to buy a tumbler now so I needed something. I'm using walnut as the medium. The wire is to hook onto the trigger to adjust the speed, which I keep in low range. The drill is actually my wife's ( we're both in construction, same trade ). That dear of a wife let me use it for the project...her stuff is better than mine anyways, and she has probably 10 NEW batteries :-) This "rube goldberg" works great, nice and shiny after 45 minutes or so. Again thanks for all the positive responses

My first tumbler was made with a 1 gallon plastic ketchup jug, hooked up to a 1/4hp motor with a couple pulley's gearing it down to about 60 rpm. Used it for about 5 years. My wife used to complain about how noisy it was.
