Stop!! Those heavy wheel weights will ruin your back and the fumes will probably kill you. Send me the address and I'll run up there and relieve you of that dangerous material. My back and lungs are already pretty much toast.

Congrats on the find. I am all set if I get into casting as well. My father-in-law owns his own garage. Have to take advantage of lead wheel weights while we can, because they are going to extinct in the near future with lead wheel weights being banned in several states already.

I have a 55 gal. drum and several 5 gal. buckets full of WW. Don't want to ever run short. Those cast WW bullets will kill a deer too.

I used to go to one of several local tire dealers and buy the kids a pizza and they would give me a 5 gal pail. Now, the local supplier of new wheel weights is strong arming all the tire places. When they deliver new ones, if they don't have old ones for recycling they can lose their account.
My supply is down to about 400 lbs now. Ebay prices are rediculous.

Greetings
I learned a long time ago a box of donuts or making the store owner some bullets goes along way in friendly relations.

Like Missionary says, a little grease, makes the wheels go 'round.
I went to a Sam's Club tire store here a while back. They were in between contracts and the new contractor wouldn't take the used wheel weights that were in the prior one's buckets. I show up with $30 cash for the two guys there and walked out with almost 500# of weights. I thought that was a good deal. Donuts are about $10 a dozen hereabouts!
