I'm tickled pink with my RCBS Chargemaster 1500 scale and dispenser. It cost a pretty penny but I feel like I've gotten what I paid for.

I bought one of the RCBS electronic scales. And that is exactly what I do with mine. I weigh and sort my bullets that I cast, as well as the brass I use.
However I do not use it too weigh powder with. I tried one with the powder dispenser and scale. It was way too slow for me. I can do it much faster by hand, and with a regular scale to check weights. But it works perfectly for what you described. Tom.

Still using my tried and true RCBS 1010 scale. It is accurate, reliable, and has never let me down in the 32 years I've owned it. If I were to buy a new scale today, I might consider an electronic one, but for the most part I usually wind up with the old fashion tried and true products - sort of like Revolvers. Hell, what do I know......... I still shave with a brush, shaving mug soap and a double edge razor from 1946!

In another 20 years people will be talking about their "tried and true" electronic scales!

Actually, Ohaus does not make the best lab balances. Most labs have Mettler-Toledo or Sartorius. Of course, the application mentioned here isn't in that category and doesn't need a real expensive scale.
Weighing multiples of cast bullets or brass almost dictates using an electronic scale for ease of use and speed. A scale in the 10-10 category, or even the 505, would be very tedious to use in this application.

Right on Chief!!!!
I'm a traditional shaver myself!!!
I weigh with my RCBS (Electronic Scale) for the purpose of determining cast round ball quality and lead purity.
