Default 9mm LSWC loads

Anyone out there have good loads for 9mm Penn 115 grain LSWC and Meister 150 grain LSWCs? Powder/Weight and COAL used too please. Approximate velocity too if available.

Thanks

I run the Penn 115gr. 3.8gr of Unique, shoulder near flush with casemouth. They do pretty good. I've only recently started reloading 9mm and havent done much load development beyond finding a fairly accurate, soft shooting, plinker. No chrony data (yet), I also have some Meister 150s. I mostly play with .38 Super, and only got the 9 because I can run the same bullets.

I won't get much more info till March or later (its cold here)....

OH, the Penn loads wont run a stock spring, 4gr of Unique will.

Thank you. What gun are you using them in? I plan on using them in a Model 952.

I use a 105gr LSWC (which usually runs 107-109grs) in my 6" PPC9 with a 8# recoil spring. With 3.1grs Red Dot I'm getting 1031fps, 3.3grs runs 1087fps. I also tried 2.9 Clays, a little slower at 966fps but grouped real good in my gun, but not enough umph to cycle it reliablity. I also load with the shoulder just a touch out of the case, runs 1.030"OAL.

Well now, that Meister 150 gr. SWC has caught my eye. I'm confident that I can get some pretty spectacular ballistics from a bullet like this in my 2" Model 940. I see they sell this as a special order only and in quantities of 1000. Problem is some cast bullets don't stabilize in my 940 (I have no idea why) and I do not want to buy 1000 bullets only to find that I'll have "issues." Does anybody know of a source for these bullets in quantities of 100?

why dont you call Meister and see if they will send you a sample of 20 or so and mention your potential issues before a big quantity is purchased.

If you page down they have the same bullet in .358, thats the one I run in my .38 Super, and will be trying in the 9 when the weather breaks. They do sell those in 100 packs.
