I just loaded up 100 round of this little fellow with 3.2Grs of Titegroup with a 125Gr lead hat. The book said 3.5 grs and I cut it down a little from a normal 9mm load. Anyone use this load or what do you use for this match ammo?

I used to when my 627 was .357 flavor. I have a -4 now and run 9mm through it.

There are a bunch of threads on the Enos forum about .38 short colt in the revolver forum.

I use 38 Short Colt in USPSA matches in a S&W 686. To make power factor for USPSA I probably wouldn't go less than 147 grn. I went with the concept that in a 686, this is basically rimmed 9 mm lugar. Lots of good threads on the BEforums on this topic. But I use...

158 grn Black Bullets Int. ploy-coated round nose
3.5 grns Solo 1000
Starline 38 Short Colt brass
OAL 1.13
About 800-825 fps from my 4" or 6" revolvers

In addition... I taper crimp because of the black bullets. Below are the dies I use.

Sizer: 38 Spl/357 mag
Bell: 9mm Lugar
Seating: 9mm Lugar
Taper crimp: 9mm Lugar
