Plastic Ammo Boxes - Best Price?
I can get them from Dillon Precision for about a buck a box in quantities of 10.
Example:
10 - 38/357 = $9.90,
10- 45 = $11.00,
10-9mm = $9.90.
Add $9.99 shipping = $40.79 shipped. Final cost is $1.36 each.
Can anyone beat that? Similar boxes cost $2 each at the LGS.

I use to get mine from Midway, but what you quote sounds good. Have you tried EBAY?

Midway! They occasionally offer case lots of 'seconds' or 'blems' for half the usual price. Maybe a litle extra plastic flash here or there or lettering not quite filled out , but functionally perfect.

All of the above boxes will spontaniously disassemble themselves(like a grenade) and contents if dropped on the floor. Spend a little more and use MTM boxes. The best in my opinion. Some of mine are 20 years old and still work well. Had a box of .44's left on my truck toolbox. Fell off going down the road and tumbled to the roadside. DID NOT COME OPEN. My $0.02.

I don't care if they cost a little more, MTM are all I buy. Much better than others I have tried.

And, believe it or not, they are made in the USA. Imagine, something plastic actually made here!

The MTM HINGED boxes are really nice. 100 round hinged boxes are like $3.19 regular price and were on sale recently for $2.79 ea. at one of the major online sellers.

I bought a bunch of Berry's boxes the last time I bought bullets from them. Very good price I thought with the free shipping I got from the price of the bullets.

I've got a good mix of about 50 box's from just about all manufactures. Some are better built than others but lets face it, it's a box not a space shuttle. I've yet to have any of them break or fail.
That said, I've reciently tried Midways cardboard& foam tray reloading box's. $16/25 and they work as well as anything I've ever used. They don't rattle either.

I have normally used MTM boxes for years, durablity is the reason.
I have just ordered some of the newer ammo boxes from Dillon. It is my understanding they are now made of heavier material and are not subjected to breakage if dropped or knocked off the reloading bench, as they were before. Possibly a rival for MTM durabilty.

If It's For Free, It's For Me!
In the end, I took the down-N-dirty route. I kept seeing all these boxes and trays in the trash at the range and decided to "Go Green" and "Repurpose" some stuff as well as have some fun. All you need is Elmer's glue and packing tape. Which I seem to have in abundance from when our daughter was a kid.
Slit the box along the seam and turn it inside-out. Close the box with the tray inside for stability. Re-glue and tape the seam and now you have free boxes that take about no time to make up and you can make as many as you can cart home. FOR FREE!!!
Before the Internet, I used to pay a lot of bills via the USPS and used Avery address labels I printed on the computer. I found almost a whole box of blanks. These can be used to mark all sorts of infoi

Now this is definitely "Hints for Heloise" material!
Seriously, I like it!
I never thought of, the turn the box inside out. I have taken a few and used duct tape to cover and strengthen them.
My hint for load data labels is, I use Blue Painters tape on my plastic boxes. It does not dry out and comes off easy without leaving a hardened glue like regular masking tape.
