I use the same stuff or the kind from Harbor Freight. It works fine. Throw some used dryer static sheets in and it helps collect any dust

We buy it in 50lb bags from various industrial supply shops and use it in the sand blast cabinet. Yep , ya can get different sizes. The finer works better because they don't get stuck in flash holes and cleans the primer pockets better.

Some feed stores ( hay, grain, horse tack, etc) carry crushed walnut shells. I got a 50# bag for $12.00. Should last me about 15 years.

Are you depriming prior to cleaning? Most I know clean before depriming.

Yes, and the reason is that the depriming process usually occurs at the same time as the sizing process and you want a clean case going into the sizing/depriming die. At least, I want a clean case going into my die.

I tried the walnut shell "lizard bedding" from Petsmart - the results were uninspiring. Maybe dryer sheets would help. I've pretty much stuck to corn cobb.
