Default Fun Game with Snubbie(642)

I love my 642 snubbie for plinking. The game is to line a couple of guys up and place a tennis ball 10' feet in front of each shooter. You alternate shots and see who can move their ball the longer distance with 5 shots. Depending on the terrain and point of impact on the ball, you get some funny bounces. It goes without saying that you need a safe backstop.
2.5 grains of Clays and a 125-130 grain bullet works best. The heavier the bullet the higher the impact. By using a "high grip hold" and squeezing tight with the last 3 fingers you can get close to "point of aim".
We did the same game with .22 handguns, 5 shooters, unlimited reloads and shot over a thousand rounds. Have fun and be safe.
Tim

Tennis balls?

What ever happened to the tried and true frosty beverage can?

Those were free last time I checked.

Crstrode,
1. We all play tennis and have way too many balls.
2. After several hits the cans dont go anywhere.
3. The balls go forward, backwards(low hit) and sometime straight up in the air.
"Frosties" do have an important role to play at the end of the competition. I find theu are very helpful in increasing my W/L record.

Just as a suggestion - shoot under the can and use the dirt to make the can fly.
