Default Hornady reloading manual- need an assist

I bought a box of .451 185 gr xtp hollow points to load 45 acp. However I dont have a hornady reloading manual. I currently have Unique and Universal powders. Does anyone have a hornady reloading manual and can give me some loading data for this bullet using unique or universal ??? Thanks in advance.

In my 4th Edition Hornady Manual, there is NO data for Universal or Unique.

But in my Lyman #48, the same bullet with Unique shows a starting charge of 4.7 grains, up to 7.5. Velocities range from 661 fps at 7,700 CUP to 1055 fps at 18K. Hope this helps.

Here's some info from LoadData.com. Keep in mind the data for the Universal Clays powder does use a different bullet but they are the same type and weight as you are using. As always, proceed with caution...hope this helps.

I have the latest 8th edition of the Hornady manual it also has no data for either Unique or Universal Clays with the 185 grain XTP bullet.
