Default rifle and handgun dies

Sorry everyone I am new to reloading this maybe a dumb question but if I have the lee 50th anniversery press kit can I use rcbs or lyman or dillon brand dies with it??Because I dont if know the the threads in them will match up. Again I am new to reloading

Yup. All have standard 7/8-14 threads so you can mix or match. Each brand has a reason for buying theirs. Dillon sizing dies have a more generous mouth chamfer that is desireable in progressive presses. Also Dillon seater & crimp dies are a snap to clean w/o loosing your settings.

Sweet,thats what i was thinking but I didnt want to buy them and they not fit

Nothing wrong with the Lee dies, especially the Factory Crimp die.

+1. For pistol dies, I'd buy the Lee 4 die Deluxe set that includes a carbide sizing die and a carbide FCD die. They go on sale routinely at Midway.
